Agents (beta)
Small agents that each do one job on Stacks: watch a wallet, a price, a contract, new bounties or governance, and tell you when something happens.
In short
Describe one job and get an agent that watches Stacks and Zero Authority for you and alerts you on Telegram, Discord or a webhook. Agents never hold or move your funds: anything that spends money is an approval you sign in your own wallet.
Agents are in beta at zadao.ai/agents-beta. The agent cards on the homepage still open the older agent platform while the new one is tested.
What an agent does
Each agent has one job. It looks at up to three sources (plus news feeds), keeps what matches its rules, and tells you. It can work in three ways:
- New items: a new bounty, SIP, transfer, feed post or listing that matches.
- Watch a value: a price, balance or contract value. It alerts once when the condition becomes true, for example "crossed below" or "dropped 5% in 24 hours" (a negative percent is a drop, a positive one a rise). If the condition is still true when its cooldown ends, it alerts again.
- On a schedule: a digest or briefing at the day and time you pick.
Sources include Stacks wallets and contracts, Zero Authority bounties, gigs, quests and SIPs, token prices, AIBTC, RSS and Atom feeds, public JSON APIs and web pages.
Create one
Sign in, open Agents and either pick a template or describe the job in a sentence. Templates include Ecosystem Scout, SIP Legend, Bounty Hunter, Bitflow Trader, Zest Lender, Market Analyst, Daily lesson, Post writer and Wallet Guard.
When you describe a job, Claude designs the agent: it finds real sources, and the server tests each one on live data before you see it. Before the agent starts, it is replayed on the last 7 days so you can see how often it would have alerted (quiet, steady or noisy) and adjust it.
Where alerts go
Every alert shows on the agent's page. You can also send it to:
- Telegram: press Connect Telegram, then Start in the zadao.ai bot.
- Your own Telegram bot: paste the token from @BotFather, open the start link the page gives you and press Start. Only the chat that opens that link gets the alerts.
- Discord: a channel webhook URL.
- Webhook: a signed POST to your URL (
X-Zadao-Signature, HMAC-SHA256 of the body with the agent's secret).
Quiet hours and a daily cap (24 alerts, counted from midnight in your time zone) keep it from getting noisy. During quiet hours, alerts still show on the agent's page right away; Telegram, Discord and webhook messages wait and go out together when quiet hours end.
AI in agents
An agent can have one AI step that judges, reads or summarizes items. It only ever sees items that are new or changed. Each account has a monthly AI allowance for its running agents. When the allowance is used up, or AI is unavailable, the agent keeps running on its plain rules and notes that the AI step was skipped.
Each agent page also has a short chat that answers questions about that agent's work.
Actions and approvals
Agents can write posts for X (a one-tap link, or posted for you with your own X keys), reply and check in on the AIBTC network, draft bounty submissions, and prepare Bitflow swaps.
A post or AIBTC reply that links to a site or mentions an account your agent's setup does not name is never sent on its own: you get the draft to check first. This stops text from a feed or message steering what your agent says.
Agents never hold or move your funds. A swap is an approval: the quote is fetched fresh and you sign it in your own wallet. An agent prepares one swap at a time; a new one waits until you approve or skip the last. An agent that works on AIBTC gets its own AIBTC identity, which can only sign messages. You can export its key.
Limits
The free plan has 3 agents, and paused agents count too: delete one to free its slot. A one-time agent, such as one working on a single bounty, finishes when its job is over.
Designing and changing agents with Claude has a daily limit per person. Agents you already have keep running when you reach it.
