# Community

Overview of Nova's community features for Discord and Telegram (Guardian, Harbor, Roles, Language Moderation, Pulse, Games, GM, Snacks, Relay, Warp, Flares), with a guide to choosing and turning them on by asking Nova.

**One rule for the whole suite:** every feature is enabled per-community just by talking to Nova, and setup is **admin/moderator-only** and **group-only** — never in a DM. Guardian, Harbor, Community Roles, Pulse, Games, GM, Snacks, Relay and Flares apply to the whole server/group; Warp links one channel with your Telegram group; Language Moderation is **per-channel** by design.

## The community features

- **🪙 Community Roles — reward holders and regulars** — **Discord roles members earn**: by what their verified wallet holds (Stacks, EVM chains, Solana or Bitcoin), by the level they reached chatting, or both. Community PRO adds roles for long-time active members and for how long a token has been held. A level role arrives the moment the level is reached; Nova re-checks holdings on a schedule and adds or removes roles as they change. Discord only. ## Community PRO perks

Three more things come with a Community PRO plan — not features you enable, but upgrades to how Nova itself behaves in your community:

- **✨ Nova Soul — your identity** — Rename Nova and give it a **custom persona** — name, tone, style, full character description — that it wears **only in your community**. ## Discord and Telegram: shared or separate?

One community on Nova can hold a Discord server **and** a Telegram group. The **plan** covers both. You turn each feature on in each place, but **its settings are shared by default**: change Guardian's mode or allowlist in your Discord server and your Telegram group gets the same change. When you turn a feature on in the second place, it starts with the settings of the first.

What stays **separate** is what only makes sense in one place: channels, topics and roles, options that exist on one platform only, and a few choices that depend on the size of each chat.

The AI usage meter, AI Boosts and your team are always one for the whole community. Daily and monthly counts (scans, answers, welcomes...) are still counted in each place. Community Roles are Discord only.

**Want them separate?** On the [Community page](https://nova.zeroauthoritydao.com/community), open the feature's card and turn off **Same settings on Discord and Telegram** (for Knowledge: **One knowledge base for Discord and Telegram**). Nothing is deleted: each place keeps its current values and changes stop being copied. Turning it back on asks which place's settings both should use. If the two places don't match (for example, they were set up before sharing existed), the card shows what differs and lets you pick a side; until then, each change you save is copied.

When you change a shared setting in chat, Nova tells you it was also applied to the other place. A value the other place can't take is left as it was and Nova says why: for example, auto-moderation isn't copied into a Discord server until it has a moderator role to report to.

> **Member-facing vs. mod-facing.** Community Games is visible to everyone (games, leaderboards, level-ups post in the community). Guardian and Pulse are **mod-facing** — their flag cards and briefs go to a private mod-review channel you choose, so members never see them.

## Set any of them up — just talk to Nova

In your server/group, as an admin/mod, tag Nova (**@NovaBot** on Discord, **@NovaAITheBot** on Telegram) or reply to it, and say what you want. _"@Nova"_ in the examples stands for that tag:
